We spent a lovely vacation in this splendid apartment which was stylish and had an amazing panoramic view to the Lake Maggiore and mountains. Our host Giuliano was very friendly, helpful and professional and we even got the chance to upgrade our one bedroom apartment to a 2 bedroom apt. The apartment was in very good condition and stylish with good kitchen equipment, so we made our dinners ourselves there and ate our lunches in Stresa. Stresa could easily be reached in 10 minutes by walk so the location was great. The way up back to the house on the other hand was a good test of condition in 32 degrees heat, but it was always worth the effort as the views from the balcony were so rewarding! The beds were very comfortable and it was quiet in the evening so we slept well. The air-conditioning was super there. We’ve stayed in a bigger apartment (the one which fits 6 people). Apartment is very clean, looks completely new. Bedding is hotel-quality, two different pillow types for different preferences. Spacious bathrooms with plenty of nice fresh towels. Nice kitchen with full-sized fridge and a stovetop. Note that there is no sugar/salt/coffee/tea. However, the best part is not the apartment, but the view!!! Absolutely breathtaking view over Lago di Maggiore. There is a big terrace with chairs to sit and enjoy the spectacular landscape. And the apartment is a 10 minute walk to center of Stresa.
