Albergo Villa Edy — Hotel in Tremezzina

I was travelling from Milan by train and I spent 3 nights here.||To get to the hotel I chose a taxi, because this place is about 45 minutes - 1 hour from train station. It cost me €100. On my way to the hotel I saw a nice view of the lake and hills and it was awesome.||I got to the hotel and it was quite hot and humid, so after checking in I decided to chill at the pool.||The front desk lady, Silvia, she's very nice and my Italian is so broken (lol), so lucky she spoke English fluently.||I had a room at 2nd floor and they have elevator. Nice. The room was pleasant, airy, bright (2 sides windows) and with a balcony. From my balcony I could see the lake, the mountains, the Hills.. Lovely... Oh, and also air con. Yay!!||I decided to had lunch here and the kitchen prepared me a delicious ravioli. Yuuumm. And for a thirst quencher? Italian beer!! Then I head out to the pool to chill.|You can see the lake como area from the hotel as well. From outdoor area, you can chill with a glass of wine and look at the view. I also had dinner here, the food so far was good and you can ask Karolina if you are a wine lover. She's good! ||This hotel is a bit up to the hill and for me, to walk down to the water it would need about 15 minutes. There is a road for pedestrians and once you get down.. There was a nice simple outdoor bar called Bar Roma. ||From there I can walk to the ferry station, around 30 minutes walk along the water. The view was also...

The location was perfect, we arrived after a wedding in Bellagio and we felt very relaxed. The pool was quiet and tranquil. On one side, you look up to mountains with caves and circling birds of prey circling. On the other, you have views of the lake and huge mountains which turn pink at sunset. On a nighttime walk, a huge firework display started across the bay and it was stunning. ||The food is delicious, with traditional Italian fayre and the chefs use local ingredients. The Parma ham and melon was my favourite starter and the sea bream/ lasagne bolognese, excellent! In the evening, a singer sang many popular songs and it enhanced the atmosphere further, whilst we watched the sunset. ||The staff cannot do enough and the service was friendly. A very clean and well run hotel , set in a stunning location, the staff were friendly, nothing was too much trouble, we had an issue on our last day when our taxi didn’t arrive for our transfer to the airport, the manager went above and beyond to find us a transfer to enable us to get to the airport on time. Our room was very clean and we had a balcony with a beautiful lake view. All areas of the hotel were to a high standard, the pool was cleaned daily and there was a tennis court which unfortunately we didn’t get the time to use on this visit. The hotel is set in a very quiet location, which was nice to come back to after busy days sightseeing.
