I wish the hotels like this can get 5 stars one day. I’ve been to many hotels around Como lake, and honestly it’s just a disaster in general or crazy amount per night, but this hotel stole my heart. The location is perfect, it’s not so far from the lake, and it’s really easy to reach the ferry, they have their own parking which is really great, as some hotel on Como doesn’t have it at all. The lake view from the hotel is stunning. Service: I’m amazed by their friendly and helpful stuff, as we were traveling with baby, and I know we’ve been a mess, but the stuff and the hosted been so attentive to us. Room: we’ve got amazing room, with the lake view from the terrace, and thank you for adding the extra towel for the baby, as usually hotels ignoring it and you have to use some small towels instead. The rooms and a common area were perfectly clean. Food: it’s nice breakfast options they serve, also you can order some panini and pizza until 5pm I think, and also they have an option for the dinner, the menu is small — but you have nice choice anyway. By the way — it’s the best salmon pasta I’ve tried in whole Italy. I would recommend this hotel, as it worth the price.

LA PERLA DEL LAGO COMO Mayo de 2023 Acabamos de pasar seis noches en este espléndido hotel. No hace falta decir que por todos los alrededores del lago hay numerosos hoteles y todo tipo de alojamientos, unos cuántos de extremado lujo. Pues bien, no hace falta gastarse el sueldo de un año para alojarse en un gran hotel. A pesar de tener sólo tres estrellas, La Perla es un gran, magnífico hotel. No tiene nada que envidiar a los mejores de cuatro estrellas. Incluso he estado en algún hotel de cinco estrellas claramente peor. La ubicación es magnífica, en lo alto de Tremezzo, permitiendo ver el lago, algunos pueblos e incluso Villa Balbianello. Desayunar o cenar en las terrazas con esas panorámicas es impagable. O desde las terrazas de las habitaciones. No sólo la ubicación es excelente. El hotel en su conjunto está limpísimo, impoluto. La decoración es agradable y de buen gusto. La habitación, elegí una con vistas al lago, la 112, tiene un tamaño adecuado con baño de ducha y bidé. La terraza particular posee buenas vistas. No hay problema para aparcar : tanto al aire libre, dentro del recinto hotelero, como en garaje interior, bajo el edificio. El desayuno es correcto y ofrecen platos sencillos de ensaladas, pastas y postres para cenar, a buen precio. Hablando de precios, la relación calidad-precio me parece lógica y adecuada, más teniendo en cuenta el lugar tan turístico en que nos encontramos. Destacar finalmente la gran amabilidad y cordialidad de todos los integrantes de este pequeño hotel familiar. He estado en bastantes hoteles de buen nivel y La Perla ha sido una agradable sorpresa. El recuerdo va a ser imborrable. Más a gusto no he podido estar. Obvio decir que si algún día vuelvo al Lago de Como, el hotel elegido será éste. Quien lea esta reseña puede confiar en lo que escribo. Sobresaliente.

I don’t normally leave reviews but this hotel deserves it. It was a wonderful stay! The owners were so kind and unbelievably welcoming. The view is incredible, we spent an afternoon by the pool staring out over Lake Como. The dinner was delicious with breathtaking views, despite the rain that rolled in (the owners quickly opened the porch shade and the view was not disrupted at all). We stayed in the only room without a lake view because that was the only room left, but there is a “couch porch” for use which worked great. Just a perfect stay at Lake Como.

This is thee most excellent small family run hotel. |The biggest challenge is finding it? You require a car as it is approx 0.75 miles off the main Como- Menaggio main road, up a single track and very narrow winding road. Careful in your approach but no worries as a phone call to the hotel and they provided clear guidance as to how to find them. Thank you||To the hotel itself: From the friendly greeting on arrival to their heartfelt farewell on our departure, our 2 night stay was perfect.|Welcomed by name then shown to our room, 108 which was a large suite with separate bedroom, living room area and large private terrace with sun loungers, table & chairs. Very private and as with the whole hotel , very quiet too & spotlessly clean throughout.|NB: all rooms are below the main public areas so cooler.|Extras offered were very much appreciated, such as giving us ferry timetables, offering to recommend local restaurants and especially explaining where to park locally to access the ferry terminal for Bellagio. Parking can be a real challenge throughout Lake Como!|Lovely small pool with towels and sun loungers supplied. The best place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing.|Ate at the hotel one evening . Pre order your meal. Delicious home cooked pasta dishes and desserts along with wines of your choice. Dined on the hotel patio giving us stunning views over Lake Como. Breakfast too was equally delicious & is available buffet style.|What more to say except a huge thank you to every member of staff for a very enjoyable & memorable stay. This is a family owned hotel run by twin sisters and is in a quiet peaceful area uphill in Tremezzina with fabulous views of Lake Como. The hotel is just wonderful; light and airy and spotlessly clean with a very relaxing atmosphere. Our room and bathroom were well appointed and we had a patio with table and chairs with a lake view. Breakfast was good and we loved having our evening meal outside on the terrace with more lake views. The food and wine was very good and just perfect after busy days exploring Lake Como. The hotel has a large car park as well as a garage so we abandoned our car for our stay and used the ferry to explore Bellagio and other resorts around the lake. Going downhill to catch the ferry is easy (about a mile and half), but you need a bit of energy to walk back up to the hotel (or a taxi for those less able). ||The sisters and their family/staff are very welcoming and most helpful. Even to the point where 2 younger members of the family on a scooter realised we were having difficulty in finding the hotel on our first day due to temporary roadworks and flagged us down and explained how to reach the hotel - something our Sat. Nav. failed to do that day! ||We can't recommend this hotel enough. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind and is even better than our first visit in 2016. ||We thoroughly recommend this hotel.
