Hotel Rutiliano centro Benessere — Hotel in Unione dei Comuni Valdichiana Senese

Potrei iniziare col dire che questa stupenda struttura sorge in un posto straordinario, ed è un incanto fin dal viale che si imbocca per accedervi. Potrei anche elencare, una per una, tutte le qualità che fanno del Rutiliano la scelta migliore per un soggiorno a Pienza; potrei concentrarmi sulla pulizia e il comfort delle camere o sul servizio impeccabile. Potrei dire che i proprietari hanno saputo conferire una tale personalità a ogni minimo angolo, al punto che anche le pareti, i tavoli, e l’arredamento sembrano avere un’anima propria. Come non menzionare l’esperienza del Percorso Benessere, grazie al quale sono riuscita a dimenticare il tempo scorrere… Sobrietà, gusto ed eleganza sono i tre aggettivi principali per raccontare il Rutiliano: cominciando dall'arredamento, passando per la concezione degli spazi, in cui l’equilibrio del design si fonde con la scelta dei materiali impiegati. Dubito comunque che riuscirei a trasmettere a chi non c’è mai stato quello che vorrei. E allora mettiamola così: ciò che io ho davvero trovato, soggiornando qui, non è stato un ottimo alloggio per la mia vacanza a Pienza, qui ho trovato Amore. Chi lo gestisce lo fa con mano amorevole, come si farebbe con un figlio, una mano delicata come invisibile, eppure presente ovunque. Ho trovato l’attenzione e l’ascolto di persone ricche di umanità e sono stata così bene che per me questo posto è come se fosse una Persona. Alla fine, non posso dire di aver trovato un ottimo albergo a Pienza, perché il Rutiliano è come Casa.

I could start by saying that this beautiful structure is located in an extraordinary place, and it's so charming, right from the entrance avenue. I could also list, one by one, all the qualities that make Rutiliano the best choice for a stay in Pienza; I could concentrate on the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms or on the impeccable service. I could say that the owners have been able to give such a personality to every minimum corner, to the point that even the walls, the tables, and the furniture seem to have a soul of their own. How not to mention the experience of the Wellness Path, thanks to which I managed to forget the time flowing ... Sobriety, taste and elegance are the three main adjectives for telling about Rutiliano: starting from furniture and passing through the concept of spaces, where the balance of design merges with the choice of the materials used. However, I doubt that I would be able to pass on certain emotions and feelings to those who've never been there, what I really want. So let's put it this way: what I really found, staying here, was not a great accommodation for my vacation in Pienza, here I found Love. Who manages it, uses a loving hand, as one would do with a child, a delicate and almost invisible hand, yet present everywhere. I found the attention and listening of great people, so human and caring and I was so happy here, that for me this place is like a Person. In the end, I cannot say I found a great hotel in Pienza because to me, Rutiliano...

DO NOT BOOK - BUYER BEWARE!

If I could rate this place 0/5 stars I would… talk about nightmare situation. My family and I booked here for a wedding in the area (6 people and 3 rooms). We had traveled from the states and spent over 15 hours traveling between flights and connecting transfers.

We show up to the hotel and it turns out the owner/manager said he did not have rooms ready and “no reservation showing in the system”. This was a total lie as we had booked months ago and had printed confirmation emails. We went back and forth with the owner but to no avail, and just told us to get lost.

So where did this leave us? 6 people scrambling in Pienza looking to book rooms at the very last minute. We ended up spending 4x the existing cost to book rooms and it was a total sham.

AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS!!!

This ideally located Hotel in the centre of town was perfect for our requirements. he service provided by Lucca (and his staff) was exceptional. It even included Lucca blow drying our bikes with an industrial leaf blower after we had washed them. His attention to detail and assistance in finding us somewhere to eat dinner (his family's restaurant) was much appreciated. he is friendly and warm welcome was welcomed after we had just finished the second day of the Tuscany Trail. The room I was allocated was sizeable and sun filled and most importantly clean and comfortable. The breakfast was enjoyable with a wide variety of choices to suit all tastes and although I didn't use it the pool looked inviting.
