Fantastic and adorable bar at the archway at the front of Pienza. The truth is, every place is Pienza is magical. The people are so kind and warm and welcoming and sincere. But this specific bar just has the perfect vibe. Not only is the owner so nice and make such delicious drinks, but the feeling and atmosphere was incredible. There were beautiful Christmas lights, a nice view of all the drinks at the bar, beautiful rustic lamps and tables, gentle jazz music, and also a selection of delicious cornetti, panini, cheeses, coffee, tea, wines, and tea. We ordered some wine from Montelpuciano, Aperol Spritz, Hugo Spritz, and some sweet wine and biscotti, and also received some delicious Italian pretzels and Tuscan potato chips on the house. The pizza? Absolutely fantastic — like it was crafted by an Italian "nonna" with superpowers. Every bite was a cheesy, crispy love letter to our taste buds.🍕 ( Margherita con bufala)

But let’s talk about the real star of the night — the bartender -Alessandro ❤️! Not only was he amazing, his drinks were a masterpiece. Seriously, if mixology were an Olympic sport, he’d have a gold medal and a cocktail shaker made of diamonds.🍹🍸

The whole staff was incredibly friendly —🙉 the kind of friendly that makes you feel like you’ve known them forever, or at least since your third Aperol Spritz.🥂🥃

If we ever get the chance (and we really hope we do!), we’d come back in a heartbeat — or faster, depending on the traffic.🏃‍♀️🏃

I have the highest respect for this restaurant and their staff. Due to an unfortunate oversight during payment, my friend paid 610.00 Euros instead of 61.00 Euros for our lunch. He only discovered this several hours later. To rectify this error I called and spoke to someone who was very accommodating and apologetic for the inconvenience caused. We sorted the problem out quickly and efficiently and as compensation, we enjoyed a complimentary breakfast the following day. The pizza I had the day before was amazing because I generally cannot eat pizza. This pizza was light, easily digestible and tasted absolutely delicious. The staff are genuinely friendly and offer great service. I'll definitely return to this...
