Outlet Sweet Venice — Hotel in Venice

Cannot review the staff as they were almost non existing. Their website asked when you will arrive and we put a time of between 2-3pm and their was no one to greet us, then we had to ring a phone number when we were told how to enter the premises and where to find the keys to our apartment. The apartment was great the size was great the cleanliness was good and the change of towels each day was great.||We booked this apartment because it had air conditioning but on arrival there was no controller we had to wait 24hrs for controller when we were told we would get it on the first night no show.||the breakfast was average at best and could not have a cup of tea as I was not a coffee drinker as there was no kettle and the coffee machine had a broken nozzle as to get hot water.||the guy running the place did not seem too concern with the issue as this was a second job for him and was hard to contact during the day.||Then to top it off we had to pay the city tax in cash to him when we had already paid it through Booking.com even though we told him this he still insisted we pay a get a refund from Booking.com.||And to top it off the safe did not work because of a flat batteries which took 24hrs to replace which I could have gone and bought 2 batteries and have them fitted in less...

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location couldn’t be better — it’s close to Venezia station, and it was so easy to get around without even checking a map. The host was very welcoming and explained everything clearly: how to catch the bus to Venice, where to buy tickets, and good nearby spots to eat.

The room was tidy and comfortable, with plenty of space and a clean bathroom. The heating worked perfectly, and the neighborhood felt very safe. The bus stop to Venice is only a short 2-minute walk away, which made getting around super convenient.

Aufenthalt vom 03.05. - 06.05.2010. Das Hotel hatten wir im Internet entdeckt. Die vielen positiven Bewertungen in diversen Portalen haben unsere Entscheidung für das Outlet Sweet Venice beeinflusst. ||Fazit: Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden dort jederzeit wieder einchecken. ||- Kleines Hotel mit 5 Suiten und einem Doppelzimmer (wir waren in Suite Nr. 6 zum Hof)||- Lage an einer eher ruhigen Straßenecke, kein besonderer Lärm durch zu viel Verkehr||- Günstige Lage zum Bahnhof Mestre (ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß)||- Noch näher (max. 400m) div. Haltestellen für die Buslinien (z.B. Linie 2) nach Venedig||- Busse nach Venedig alle paar Minuten, Fahrtdauer ca. 12 Min, Einzelfahrschein 1,10€||- Mestre Innenstadt (Piazza Ferretto) ca. 15 Minuten Fußweg||- Die sehr geräumigen Suiten (ca. 55qm) wurden vor gut 2 Jahren komplett renoviert ||- Ansprechende moderne Möblierung, Flachbild-TV digital (ZDF vorhanden, Programm-Nr. 1041), Kühlschrank, Espressomaschine||- Alle Räume sehr gepflegt und sauber - Sehr gute Betten||- Die Inhaber (Giovanna und Maurizio Intoppa) sind sehr freundlich und kundenorientiert||- Ein kleines Frühstück macht man sich in der Suite selbst - Zwieback, Butter, Marmelade werden täglich ergänzt, Tee, Espresso, Cappucino, Kakao bereitet man sich selbst ||- Wer Wert auf ein tolles Frühstückbuffet legt, sollte sich aber anderweitig orientieren||- Sowohl um die Ecke in Mestre als auch in Venedig kann man sich in einer der zahllosen Bars jederzeit einen recht preiswerten Imbiss gönnen (Tramezzini, Panini & Co.). Oder man kauft sich in einem Supermarkt (um die Ecke) etwas dazu||- Eine kleine Einschränkung: Im gleichen Gebäude befindet sich um die Ecke ein Restaurant.
