I'm writing this review to express my great experience and appreciation about the hospitality of this amazing hotel. From the time I arrived, checking in, welcome drink at the library bar, in room Onsen, breakfast, dinner, etc, I can strongly feel the great effort the team spent on it.

I have experienced some world class decent restaurants and hotels in the world. I can be sure that this hotel is at the very top level. I used to travel to Japan once to twice a year for the pass 10 years except for Covid time. Thank you for offering us a great experience of Japan once again and this country never disappointing us and should be proud of you guys.

And I would like to specially thank Chef Sommelier, Mr “Takashi Tano”. From our welcome drinks with special cocktails, mulled wine with rosemary and Japanese sparkling wine, to our first dinner he recommended a very nice bottle of Champagne which perfectly matched our dinner and served us with two different types of glasses to bring out different flavors and aroma of the Champagne. And lastly tonight he made us 3 glasses of cocktails which once again matched perfectly with our dinner. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and full of a sense of humor which upgraded our whole experience.

We will definitely come back to your hotel again or another location in Ginza and Kyoto very soon and thank you for offering such a high level of hospitality. Will definitely recommend to all our friends...

The perfect marriage of the best in Japanese hospitality and J.S. Bach’s legacy of technical command, artistic beauty, and intellectual, thoughtful depth. ||||The newly renovated property is situated in the best location of the resort town of Atami. The panoramic view of the Sagami Bay and Atami is breathtaking and can be enjoyed from every guest room, the beautifully appointed lobby, exquisite public onsen, restaurant and bar. ||||Everything about the hotel is exceptional, and I don't give praise lightly. The property is exquisitely maintained, stylish, roomy with excellent service from everyone. ||||The food is beyond superb and our meals were truly unforgettable. Chef de cuisine Ida is truly an amazing talented master of the kitchen and it was obvious that a tremendous amount of thought and care went into each meal's preparation. All the ingredients are locally sourced and were delectable. The wine offerings are the best I have seen in Japan.||||If you want to experience the very best in Japanese hospitality, the Grand Bach Crescendo is the obvious choice. Your stay will be...

The Grand Bach Hotel Atami exceeded all expectations, delivering a truly luxurious and memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, the attentive staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The room was spacious and elegantly designed, boasting stunning ocean views that took our breath away. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel's highlight was undoubtedly the exquisite dining. Each meal was a culinary masterpiece, showcasing fresh, local ingredients prepared with incredible skill and artistry. The onsen was another highlight, providing a serene and relaxing escape. The beautifully landscaped grounds and impeccable facilities further enhanced our stay. While the Grand Bach Hotel Atami is undeniably a splurge, it's worth every penny. For those seeking an unforgettable getaway with exceptional service, world-class dining, and luxurious amenities, this hotel is an absolute must-visit.

I really enjoyed my 2-night stay at Grand Bach. The quality is outstanding, especially the food. They have actually good French fine dining for dinner (I've had plenty of bad ones before), and amazing house-made curry for breakfast (+ mean wild game sausages). The views from the room, lounge, and restaurant are all beautiful, especially at dusk and dawn. The in-room onsen bath and the shared public bath are really nice. There's no "traditional aspect" to the hotel, so if you're looking for that this is not the place for you. One small nitpick: there's no desk in the room, which was inconvenient. Please consider putting a small work desk in the future. But above all, it's the hospitality of the staff that makes the hotel special. The front-desk gentleman and the lounge lady on the evenings of 8/30–31 were incredibly kind—thank you. I'll have to come back for the fireworks next time, hopefully soon!
