We stayed in apartment C for 4 nights (note: their are 5 apartments, and 12 hotel rooms). This place is wonderful! The apartment was very big, had its own little patio with zen garden and a hot tub outside. The tub is covered but you can pull back the ceiling so you can lay back and enjoy the sun. There's a microwave, fridge, and washing machine. There's no dryer, but there's a rack for clothes to dry on. Only minor issue is the stairs to the apartment: no issues for us, but make sure you're ready to climb a few steps before you book. Also, the road from the train station is quite steep. We had a rental car, but I think its best to take a taxi to the hotel. Oh. There are also barbecues on the top deck of the main building. Read moreThe hotel is Japanese style, located on a very steep slope, the road is very narrow, you need to be very careful about sharp turns and oncoming cars at night. The hotel's own parking lot needs to pay 1000 yen, so I parked my car directly on the roadside. It seems that there are not many people staying here, and there is nothing else except the sound of the Shinkansen passing by at night. There is no staff at the front desk after 9 pm, and you need to check in by yourself on the iPad if you arrive late. There is no elevator in the hotel. If you are unlucky enough to be on the third floor or book a room in the villa area, you need to carry your luggage up two or more...
Read moreWe had a fantastic experience here! The room was very spacious and extremely clean. I loved the traditional style living space. Our room included a washing machine which was very useful after a long day in the sun and at the beach. The hotel is very very close to the station, but on a steep hill. I would recommend a taxi if you have heavy bags, but at night we found the location to be convenient for walking to dinner or bars. The private onsen was a great touch as well - quiet, private, and the perfect...
