Bathing tax was 250 yen . If you want to book a private onsen , they will book you one in another hotel within walking distance . |Rooms were spacious and clean . Wifi fast . |The toilet was separate from the bathroom with this amazingly deep bathtub. We were given this corner room 401. This room had a huge round window that had no blackout blinds , hence we were woken up at 530 am at sunrise . |Onsens one rooftop one accessible by a flight of stairs up from 7 th floor. Lovely to soak looking out to sea among the rustling leaves but bathing there in the open was cold when the cold sea wind blew . The indoor pool was just a rectangular wooden pool at level three. |Dinner was kaiseiki - of note the sashimi was plentiful and very fresh . The two small pieces of beef to grill melted in your mouth and were out of this world . The hotpot had big prawns and we ended with rice or porridge which they cooked in the hot pot was very good . Meals are not served in the rooms but rather in the dining area on floor 2. Staff will come to the room during your selected dinner time to setup futons.
