There are 3 buildings, the main building, the central building and the annex, It is too far from the front to the room, like a maze!
Take the elevator in the main building where there is a reception until you go to the room, Go up to the 3rd floor where there is a communication passage, and then go to the central building. Because there is a staircase with a step, The rattle loaded with luggage cannot pass, Go up to the 6th floor with the elevator in the Nakadate Cross the access passage, I got down to the second floor with an elevator in the annex and finally got to the room. The emergency exit is difficult to understand. The emergency exit is dark and scary. There are various kinds of luggage in the emergency exit passage, making it difficult to pass. The parking lot is also far.
wifi is only available on the 1st floor of the main building. The rooms are not connected.
The bath is small and the indoor bath has only one pattern. The outdoor bath is out of order. (The breakdown ended at about 8 o'clock in the evening.
Anyway, in order to increase cabin capacity, Connect three buildings, Because we make many guest rooms and increase the number of guests, There is a lot of overwhelming feeling.
7500 yen can endure, It's a good time to spend more than 10,000 yen before a holiday, on a holiday, during a Bon Festival or at the end of the year.
It was my first stay, but maybe not coming...
Read moreWe spent three nights in Oedo Onsen Monogatari Beppu Seifu in January 2020. It is about 10 minutes walk from the JR Beppu Station and on the waterfront. The hotel has two public onsen/baths; one indoor and one outdoor on the top of the roof (7th floor of the Annex Building). The outdoor onsen gives an excellent view overlooking the ocean and it is best place to enjoy a hot bath in a cold weather and seeing the sunrise. Our package included two meals - breakfast and dinner. The restaurant is also on the top floor of the main building. The buffet style breakfast and dinner provide a variety of food which are very good. We stayed in a Japanese-Western room which could accommodate 3 - 4 people with twin beds and futon. Our room also has a view of the ocean. The drawback is that the room fixture is a bit old and outdated, especially bathroom is small and the bath-tube is getting rusty. So, we did not use the bathroom. Instead, we went to enjoy the hot spring in the public bath which is much much better. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly who gave us good direction of local touring. The reason I only rated it for 3 stars is because the outdated room fixture. Otherwise, everything is fine and it is...
