because it’s a departmental store food court, so I don’t expect to get anything made from scratch. I can tell the Toriten is pre-made and gone second fry upon order (as it won’t take so fast to serve) it is still very yummy don’t get me wrong, but with ¥990 a set I would say it is steep comparing what I had in Oita though.

they have an original shop up north (3km away) I’m just lazy to walk, I wonder if the quality...

From the start of Golden Week until the end of May, this restaurant didn't improve its stock management at all.

They are selling nothing but fried chicken menu for more than 1 month. This is such a joke. Other types of dishes are always sold out.

Better work on your stock management or change the menu to only fried...

高速バスで福岡市の博多駅から大分県別府市の別府北浜で降りてランチを近くで食べようと、その目の前のトキハデパート地下1階フードコートにあるレストラン東洋軒へ、祝日の午前11:20頃に2人で行って来ました♪

というのは、このレストラン東洋軒は、大分名物「とり天（鶏の唐揚げならぬ鶏の天ぷら）」発祥店のためです♪

せっかくなので、本家別府とり天食べ比べ1,430円税込を頼みました♪

これは、別府とり天、ゆずとり天、アオサとり天の3種類、合わせて200gの鶏肉が入ったぜいたくな定食です♪

しかしながら何とファーストフード的なフードコートなのに、出来上がりまで30分〜40分かかると言われたのには驚きました！ 実は、ほとんどの客がこのレストラン東洋に集中しているようでしたね。 皆さんやはり大分名物を頂きたいようです。 確かに東洋人の観光客が多いようでしたね。

仕方がなく、呼び出しブザーを頂いて席で待ちました。 フロアは明るく綺麗で、比較的新しくできたばかりのようでしたね。

しかしながら20分ほどと、想定より早く呼び出されてラッキーでした♪

さっそく、とり天3種を頂きますが、さすが揚げたてアツアツで、これらを塩もしくは酢醤油・黄色のマスタードと、2種類の味で楽しめたのは良かったですね♪ あまりに揚げたてで舌をヤケドしてしまいました(^_^;)

その他に卵片栗粉スープもアツアツで出汁がよく効き、キャベツ等のサラダや漬け物、ご飯、とともに美味しく頂きました♪ とり天はご飯に合いますね♪

大分県別府市のトキハデパート地下1階フードコートのレストラン東洋軒は、とり天発祥店のとり天を美味しく頂けとてもオススメです！
