Royal Host Beppukitahama — Restaurant in Beppu

We decided to visit Royal Host on a whim as we were tired and what a great choice it was. The manager who served us was very friendly and spoke very good English and ordering was easy.

The food was great, we polished it off very quickly and the dessert was great as well. When we had finished, the manager came by with a hot chocolate for my wife and I on his own accord which was a great end to the meal.

On leaving and paying, he then made a cute little balloon bear for my wife which we love! Such a great experience from someone who truly cares about his customers. Would highly recommend, especially to all the folks who speak English. Also, the onion...

Such a lovely diner experience! I was in Beppu for one day, and checked out this place because of its close proximity to my accommodation. Ended up going for lunch and dinner!

There is so much variety in the menu (vegetarian, plant-based, and pork-free options available), the sets are reasonably priced, and the staff are very helpful and accommodating. I was greeted both times by the manager, and he was incredibly sweet and engaging! He checked in with us to ensure we enjoyed our time, and even made my friend and I a balloon teddy bear and flower! I also saw him do the same for some kids in the restaurant.

If I end up in Beppu again, I'll be back for...

This restaurant made me feel like a premium guest. This is a restaurant with the best service. The manager of this restaurant, the guy with specs is a very friendly person, he welcomed every guests with warmth. The atmosphere of this restaurant is really classy, food is nice as well. The steak is very nice. Juicy meat with Japanese sauce. He gave me a free chocolate drink and made me a bear shaped balloon in the end. Came here for the second time, the omelette rice and caramel nuts brulee is superb. I noticed some kids received a free toy as well. This restaurant is perfect. I had a good memory here.
