We stayed here for 1 night during the fall foliage festival season, in a deluxe twin room. Would recommend to travelers who want to stay in Kawaguchiko area, with views of Fuji, without the expensive price tag.
This is a nice, small hotel. Staff are friendly and speak good English. There's 8 rooms total all located on the second floor. There is no elevator (not disabilities friendly, would need to be able to walk upstairs with bags). There is a lobby and a 24 hour family mart downstairs. There is a 7-11 across the street. Every room seems to have a Fuji view. We were lucky to see Fuji from our window. The room is a good size with decent storage space (closet). The bathroom was small but clean and had good water pressure. There was a mini fridge but no microwave.
The location is good for viewing Fuji, and seeing the fall festival. It's a short walk to the north edge of the lake, to get clear Fuji views with the lake in the front. The fall festival is within walking distance to the hotel (about 10 mins) which was great because the bus lines were very crowded, sometimes full, when we visited. There is a red line bus stop right out front which made it easy to get to and...

You can partially see Fuji only. Location: accessible by red line bus. Just across music forest. Its attached to a family mart, which is important since at night, not a lot of food options nearby and last bus from station is at 5.45pm. taxi from/to station will cost around 1900-2300yen, which is worth it if you are a group of 4. Service : Met three attendants. First night is a superb guy who speaks excellent English and super nice. Waited for us till 8pm for check in. 2nd one, we asked about leaving luggage the next day after check out, and he said no, because its not attended 24h and no space to store (almost gave the hotel a 3 star because of this). Morning, we asked the lady and she was very nice and stored our luggage in the hallway till we pick up. The breakfast is good, a bit salty for my taste but the cook is really friendly. There is a small food truck on the right side of the hotel...
