ALPHABED INN Ohori Koen — Hotel in Fukuoka

This was mine and my husband’s first time staying at an establishment that did not have staff at the front desk so you gotta make sure that you check for your code to check in and a code for the gate before arriving. It was just me and my husband, but all they had was a family room left so there was plenty of space and everything in the hotel was updated and nice. We stayed for two nights in the hostel (AirBnB). Very clean room and with a kitchen too! It also has a washing machine and a drying area in the room’s shower. There’s also a complimentary amenities bar at the lobby where you can get toothbrushes and teas and candy. The beds are on the firm side, though (which is rather typical in Japan). Overall, my family and I had a good stay here. Oh, and there is a park that’s just a 10-minute walk away and plenty of restaurants...

Not sure why the cover picture is of the dome. The actual hotel is a very skinny building. Basically one room per floor and there are about 4 or 5 floors.

Its lobby is usually empty and uses an automated system, but sometimes there are staff working.

the rooms are clean and modern and its close to Ohori Koen station which directly connects to the airport and Hakata station
