Gora Nigorinoyu Yado Nou Nou Hakone — Hotel in Hakone

This was an excellent stay. From the moment we called from the station, they came in a couple of minutes. We asked to stop by a convenient store and the driver took us about 10 minutes out of the way to the convenient store so we could pick up a few items. Check in went smooth, we set our time for the dinner, couple onsen and breakfast. After checking into the room, they went and brought a larger size yukata for me. We went to the onsen next. It was a little small. It would fit 3 men comfortably and 4 would probably start to get crowded. It is a milky white sulfur onsen so it does do wonders for the skin. We went to dinner and it was excellent. Better than normal Japanese service (though out the hotel not just at dinner) and it took about an hour and half. We were stuffed and the left over rice they made into onigiri for late night snack. We had some of the local nihonshou and local plum wine. After dinner was a quick nap and then off to the couple onsen. It was outside and perfect size for two people. We took a bath in the morning and then breakfast was good. Lovely experience staying here. Our Wa Fuu room was modern, clean and provisioned with exquisitely comfortable floor-beds, as well a constantly-flowing private onsen with well-kept shower fixtures and tiling.
