Incredible Stay at Snowhere Ski Lodge Hakuba!
Our 6-night stay at Snowhere Ski Lodge was absolutely amazing! Dan & the team made our snow trip unforgettable with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. From the delicious Western-style breakfast each morning to the fun optional Ramen and BBQ nights, everything was well-organized and hassle-free.
The lodge itself is spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Our room had a balcony and its own private onsen, which was the perfect way to relax after a long day on the slopes! The location is fantastic, a short walk to Echoland for bars and restaurants, and only two minute walk from a shuttle bus stop that takes you straight to the mountains. The team also drove us to the slopes each morning, making everything effortless. We were picked up from the train station when we first arrived and taken back at the end of our visit.
If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located stay in Hakuba with exceptional service, Snowhere Ski Lodge is the place to be. We can’t wait...
Read moreThis place ticks all the boxes if you are there for days or weeks or months (in my case). Dan and Chris are great hosts. Both went above and beyond, making sure your stay is amazing.
The rooms are comfortable, clean, and have all the items you expect to find, plus the outside bath (there is a bath/shower in the room).
The Service, both Dan and Chris did everything within their power to make the stay fantastic. Showing you the best spots on the mountains, simply calling up a takeaway restaurant to place an order (because you can't speak Japanese). Driving you to the supermarket/laundry among other places. The list of things could go on forever, lol.
The location, you are within walking distance of the buses to the slopes, restaurants/bars, etc, but you are far enough away from town to get the peace and quiet.
I can't recommend this place enough I look forward to spending...
Read moreWe stayed in late December and somehow had the whole lodge to ourselves with no other guests. Our hosts, Dan and Chris, were friendly and welcoming, and Dan provided A+ service with helping us get around town, taking us to a great ramen spot and providing local knowledge of the ski fields. Breakfast each morning was a nice inclusion as well.
The room was spacious and comfortable. We booked a room with a private hot tub which came in very handy after a day of skiing. The lodge also has a shared bath area which we didn’t use but looked great.
Location is a bit tricky if you don’t have a car but is 10 min walk to restaurants at nearby Echoland, and the free ski shuttle buses stop just 100m down the road.
Overall, a great place to stay and...
