I booked this hotel after finding that I had booked a god awful local love hotel that was not advertised as such. The room was a little cramped having twin beds, but the couch was comfortable and there was a table I could set my laptop up on. WiFi was free, high speed and reliable. Beds themselves were very comfortable, especially if you are used to western mattresses. Bathroom was good too. Shower was very hot and the bath was big. In the lobby they have a wall full of whatever amenities you might need.
Staff were amazing and very accommodating. Breakfast was excellent. There was the offer of omelette, meatballs, Vienna sausages, a green leaf salad, as well as some really good miso, and curry + rice. There is also a free use drink machine that serves soft drink and various juices. Very filling and delicious. They also have a free drink happy hour from 6-8pm. Great beer on tap, and a choice is liquor. The lemon sour is 25% abv, so be warned. It is easy to get drunk on that like I did, and then send drunken Snapchat messages to my friends.
Location was great. Multiple convenience stores around, as well as numerous restaurants - I would also recommend Matsui, which is a ramen restaurant. It is only a 15 minute walk away. Hotel is only a short 10 minute walk to the train station, which made getting to the Shinkansen a breeze.
Fantastic hotel from top to bottom. If I ever visit Hamamatsu again, this is where I...

Breakfast was included, and it was pretty good! A fair amount of variety of options Room was clean enough; it felt like a standard Japanese business hotel. The shower didn't hook into its mount very well; the water pressure kept pushing it out and making it fall down. The Booking.com listing, so far as I saw, didn't specify that they were going to charge an extra ¥1,500 to use the sofa bed, put sheets...
