A little science museum with a lot of interactive things to do. The admissiom fee is cheap, 600 yen for adult and half for kids.
This place is clean, neat and compact. Like what you will expect on Japan.
Kids will love it here as there are a lot of fun interactive things to do. They could also go to upper floor without using staircase, there is small ladder for them, similar to with ladder in playground.
Their gift shop also sell some good small experiment project for kid and some simple logic robot.
Bad thing is, a lot of their display doesnt have english explanation. If you couldnt speak or read Japanese, the experience wont...
Read moreGreat museum with interactive exhibits for kids and families. Some of the corporate sponsored exhibits weren't the most interesting, but there were enough cool things to keep kids interested from morning to about 2.
This is a science museum mainly for elementary to junior high school students, focusing on natural science and physics. However, there are a lot of interesting and instructive tricks even for adults. You can enjoy electric currents, mechanics, etc. as if you were playing a game, and you may end up playing a game in a serious mode. I think this is a facility where you can share and enjoy the fun of science with your family and friends.
The natural science exhibit focuses on the ecology of fish and animals collected mainly from Hamamatsu City and Lake Hamana. However, you need to be careful about this booth. The way the exhibits are displayed is very strange, with insects and decomposers in the ground displayed at 100 times the size (models, of course), which may be traumatizing to...
