Good hotel with a lot of positive points. The locations I outstanding: close to everything! Price was very reasonable; I paid 25,000¥ for 5 nights in mid March. The onsen and sauna are very nice with long hours. Bonus free ramen after 9:30 pm is a fun touch at all Dormy Inn hotels.
The only reason I’m deleting a star is because of their confusing room cleaning policy. Apparently, there isn’t any (perhaps depending on how you book). On check in, they told me they leave an “amenity bag” with new towels outside the door every day.
I didn’t realize that this meant (a) they don’t even enter the room to take out the trash, and (b) they won’t clean the room even once during your stay (most hotels I’ve been to, it will at least be every 2nd or 3rd day). I left the trash can in the hall after day 2 and they did empty it.
To make matters more confounding, they put a placard in the room - with English translation - saying “if you don’t want your room cleaned, put this magnetic sign on the door. In that case, we’ll give you a free mask or cup ramen.” No magnetic sign to be found anywhere.
As well as a sign that says “Leave this on the bed if you want your sheets changed.” I did, but no one ever entered the room to find it.
Overall, a good experience. They need to better organize how they do/don’t clean the rooms and how customers are...

The bed, typically sinks in the Centre :(.
Everything works, but my only 🤔🤔 is the towels. We ‘could not find any towels anywhere on the room nor toilet. Had to go down and get a set.
Then subsequently, we found it’s under the TV, by the shelves, in baskets that were the same color as the shelf (see picture).
I think they should just put the baskets in the toilet/bathroom as the picture attached is showing.
Else lobby provides complimentary coffee, useful for early morning, and evening cuppa.
It’s conveniently located next to FamilyMart(I think) and it’s next to the indoor mall, with lots of shops, and eatery. And if you turn right, (or left), indoor walkway to the Hirome market!
If you plan your trip for a Sat night stay, wake up Sunday morning and you are a stone’s throw to one of the biggest longest Sunday markets in Japan! Really nice,...

The nearest parking is at OK parking one street away at 800 yen per night after 3 pm .It can be quite problematic when it rains as that parking has its roofs leaking and pouring rain . Also that parking only holds about 25 cars- 30 cars . |The hotel room was a twin room - of adequate size . Wifi was good , beds firm and water pressure good . |Onsen was an indoor one with two pools . Each pool can hold about 6-8 people . Many bathing stations . |The hotel is very generous with food . There is yogurt drink in the morning outside the onsen and popicles and ice cream as well in the afternoon . They also serve udon noodles at 930-11 pm at night . |Breakfast was delicious with both western and Japanese selection . Very daintily prepared and...
