Stayed here for 5 nights exploring Kyoto and surrounding areas. Staff were friendly and it was easy to find. The room was clean, the wet room is large and there was a lot of space in the apartment for Japan. The bed was firm and you could feel the springs and the sheets slid off every night which was quite irritating. They provide you with a microwave and fridge but you don't get any bowls/cutlery which seems counterintuitive. We bought some kitchen items ourselves so hopefully these will be left for future guests. The location is a bit far out, the JR station is 15 min walk up a hill which feels longer with luggage in hot weather especially. The JR station's trains into Kyoto are also not that regular. If you don't have a JR Pass though you can use the closer (5min) metro stop. The area itself is very quiet with little going on but it is not hard to get into Kyoto. The washing machine is free to use but the dryer is the usual 100 yen so that was brilliant. Overall it was very quiet and I got peaceful night's sleep which was great, but the area is a bit dull and the Inn lacks atmosphere. No major...
Read moreThe hotel is near the Keytatsu Line approximately 6mins away. Typically there is a Familymart some steps away from the hotel where you can get all needed things. The hotel can be entered via a code. Rooms will be accessed by a key room card. The rooms are a little small especially with bigger suitcases but enough room for chilling here. The beds are very big and comfortable. I like the bathroom the most, clean, big and you got a shower ad well as a bathtub.
Thats not that good but acceptable is that the one a little dirty washing machine and dryer are on the 4th floor only accessible by stairs. Right next to the washing machine is a smoking area which is a ash tray and a open window😅
All in all a good hotel for...
Read moreThe location of the hotel is alright. It’s near a train station that connects everywhere in Kyoto. The rooms are very small, and the one we were in, couldn’t even walk beside the bed to access the second bed because it was so cramped. It’s built to maximize occupancy, with no regard to comfort. There is a washer and a tumble dryer, however these are on the top floor, next to a smoking spot which is just gross, as this is also where the hotels laundry is just sitting open next to this same spot.
Besides the convenience of nearby shops and train station, and the accessibility of the inn, it’s not a particularly nice stay for more than a night if you’re pressed for a...
