The owner personally cooked for us in front of us, providing us with small dishes of first shellfish, then vegetables, then meat, then fish and finally a dessert
He talked with us at length over some tea about the history of the building, that it was 86 years old, and that he's the third generation of owner
He walked with us through the house discussing various decorations, such as a family antique samurai helmet he placed out for his son, and some hanging tapestries, before walking with us through the garden and talking about the fish, the old bonsai trees and the freshwater well on property

Well worth the cost, they are extremely accommodating from the minute you arrive until the minute you leave (from greeting you at the door to offering to hail a cab for you once you depart). The reason why I scored the food poorly is because they said they accommodated for halal, and what that looked like was reduced portions compared to the friends I was with that did not have the same dietary restrictions. To add insult to injury, I asked about the Wagyu on the menu they provided to just make sure it was halal. It wasn’t. And they replaced that with something I had already had. And the kicker?
