Stay there for one night and I was lucky it was only one night, it's located at a red light district but we weren't bugged by any of the hustlers. However, the stay wasn't present at all.
Let's settle all the plus side first:
Bed and pillow is supportive (i.e. hard) and I liked that but that's very perspective
Auto check-in is fast and convenient
Have free onsen which is rare in Okinawa
All the amenities is self served and pick up at lift lobby
Free shuttle to travel to the airport every half and hour, but it's first come first serve and you can't pre-book your place, so good luck, the shuttle only has room for 8.
Now, the downside;
First and foremost: The rooftop pool, which is one of the reason I chosed this hotel, is NOT FREE for all customers, it is only free for those who chose a more expensive staying plan staying at high level (12-14/F), those who stayed at low level must paid a hefty sum of 3000 yen to enter the pool which I think is outrageous, I checked all the comments online and all the hotel booking web, none of them mentioned the roof pool is not free, don't know if this is a new policy or what. Usually swimming pool is only charged to those who are not staying at the hotel.
What makes point 1 even worse is that even if I want to spend the 3000 yen to try the roof top pool, the pool isn't open as supposed at 10am, and when I asked the concierge at 1/F, the reception just answered matter of factly that due to approaching typhoon, the roof top pool will be close for the day, but there wasn't any mentioned of that anywhere! Not posted at concierge, not posted in lift, not posted at lift lobby, I waited the pool to open, only to know that it's been closed due to weather without any notification, and wasted me 2 hours sitting at hotel room after waking at 8am.
And to further iterate point 2, there is no way to contact concierge from the room, there's no phone at all inside the room! Something is broken or you want to ask questions (like me asking if the pool is paid only or why is the pool closed)? You have to go to 1/F and ask. The service ain't bad, because it doesn't exist! You self check-in, you self pick up amenities, you self check out, even the little shop outside the onsen selling food and things is self-served.
The onsen is okay, but the water is weak with not much sulfur smell, I know this is not the hotel's fault, but just a little disappointed
No parking space for travellers with rental cars, which 90% of travellers would do with that weak transportation system of Okinawa, there is perhaps 3 or 4 parking space and that's all, you would most probably have to park at those paid carpark outside if you come with a rental car.
Location is good only if you are going to or from the airport, which is 10min drive away, but it's not closed to the city center nor is there any convenience store closed by, there is a 24hr AEON shop but it's 10min walk away with unlit streets through red light district.
Due to self-service, my wife and I was given a 2 bed room, which I would've preferred a 1 large bed, but there was no way to inform the hotel of that because this option isn't available in the self serve machine and the reception's only purpose was to show you to the self check in machine even if he has nothing to do.
The bed sheet is not particularly clean with some blood stain and the A/C is not cool, what makes it worse is the door is super thin and anyone talking at anything higher than a whisper and any footsteps from someone not purposefully sneaking around can be heard, the bad sound insulation makes me waked up at 7am.
Overall, I have an unpleasant stay in this hotel and I am not coming back nor would I recommend it to anyone...
Read moreThis hotel is tough to rate. The property itself is clean and well run, but there are a few things that make me give it a lower rating. The rooms are downright microscopic. I booked a twin room, but it was really two twin beds pushed together with a single comforter. This is probably the tightest room I've ever been in and I've stayed at plenty of business/capsule hotels.
There was no space to leave shoes in the genkan without being in the way of the front door and the toilet/bathroom door. The bathroom was HUGE for the size of the rest of the room with a nice sized tub and shower, which I absolutely didn't need as I wanted to use the onsen/sento. Unfortunately not the best thought through layout.
The worst part of the hotel is that the location is in the middle of Okinawa's biggest red-light district/soapland. My son and I were propositioned by catchers repeatedly at all hours of the day. My friend's daughter was offered a job. It's not too big of a deal, but sort of gross and annoying. There's not much that the hotel or staff can do about the location, but I definitely feel like families should be aware of this. You may have to have an uncomfortable conversation with your kids.
The last complaint is that the pools and onsen are covered with signs saying no tattoos. It's 2024. Tattoos are part of Japanese culture. Perhaps say no offensive tattoos or no gang-related tattoos, but outright banning them is just annoying. The front desk staff just told me to hide them and no one bothered me, but the signs were there.
Lastly, the good of this hotel. It's less than 5 minutes walk from Naminoue Beach. It has two swimming pools which are child friendly, an outdoor bath and huge onsen. Tons of fun for the family for sure and a really amazing view from the top...

Front office staff speak perfect english and was very accommodating which makes the checkin very smooth.
The hotel itself is untill 14th floor and I got the room at 12th which was perfect with a good view of the city.
The room is a bit small like most of the Japanese hotels but at the same time very well organized. Bed was comfortable. There was a hot pot and coffee machine with Coffee ☕️ capsules, which was perfect for Espresso lovers like me. Small refrigerator and Smart TV with Netflix and other options is there.
Toilet and bath were clean and hightech. All the amenities are there. Tooth brush and Towels in the room are better then other hotels, these are the small details which makes a big difference.
There is a hot spring bath and 1 m deep pool on the reception floor, and there is another rooftop pool which had a great view.
In 14th floor you can enjoy yourself in the inhouse bar and there is also a resturant on reception floor which serve a buffets breakfast. Unfortunately I couldn't try the restaurant this time but will definitely love to give it a go next time.
The only thing I noticed is my room door was open when I came back to the room. May be I was the only lucky person but if I dont pull the door completely the door is left slightly open and doesn't autlock.
Over all a great experience and will definitely be coming again when I...
