It is a small beach park which is located beside Naminoue Beach, Naminoue Shrine, and Gokokuji Temple. The Park is relatively clean, although there are some trashes left on narrow trails and under the bushes, probably because there is NO garbage dumpster inside the Park.
Also, there are a few homeless seniors who are sometimes hanging around with their cats or having lunches at rest site.
Park has a monument to document and in memory of the deceased crew members and passengers of various boats which were destroyed around Okinawa by the U.S. navy force...
Read moreI really enjoyed my time at this park. I love cats and really enjoyed spending time with many friendly, local feral kitties. Most of the cats seem healthy and many seem happy. Some were small and scared of the bigger bully cats, but we only saw one sick one out of about 20. There is a small, random butterfly garden with lots of benches all over to eat lunch. Surprisingly to hear it wasn't that steep, and there were quite a lot of butterflies around when I was on the way...
