The best part of the experience is the service from the young Japanese boys that wait the tables. Very friendly and accommodating. Now the bad part: I got the Sukiyaki. I wouldn't normally use this word in a review, but honestly it was utterly disgusting. Entirely too sweet. I couldn't even stomach more than a few bites. It could be that it's just not my taste, but I can't imagine anybody enjoying that flavour. One star. My girlfriend got the spicy roe udon which was a bit better. Perhaps 3 stars for her dish. Also, as you can see in my photo, the sushi had the thinnest slice of salmon I've ever seen. Overall I really can't recommend this restaurant. Udon portions are absolutely huge, but it doesn't matter when it tastes...

First off - check out the quality wooden disposable chopsticks they offer to guests! Attention to detail CHECK*. Their food menu also displays language in Chinese, English and Korean so ordering and knowing what you're ordering was straightforward. I ordered a simple hot udon bowl with a big sheet of sweet fried tofu and my partner ordered a hot beef and green onion savoury udon bowl. The food came out expectantly quick and we slurped down the meal while adding some chili powder intermittently. Surpisingly, my soup was on the sweeter side probably because of the sweet fried tofu. Pretty tasty food, especially the Mentaiko Udon which had a strong and delicious seafood flavor. The sashimi was also notably fresh. The rest of the meal was decent. However, the service was a letdown. We felt like we were treated differently based on our casual attire and were seated at a cramped sharing table despite other tables being available (a smartly dressed couple was immediately given a proper table). For a 7000 Yen bill, the lack of space was disappointing. The payment process was also disorganized, leading to a 10-minute wait to resolve a miscommunication, and there wasn't even an apology.
