You had to pay for an extra pillow ¥300 per pillow, thankfully they waved this fee. Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything through the walls/door. Not to mention that the room is separated with a steel door that was banged constantly. Neighbours stayed up to 1 or 2am every night and so between not being able to get comfortable we had to listen to the neighbours talk or cook, which the smell permeated our room. The price and location are NOT worth it.
This place is so terrible that I had to write a review after our first night. The room smells terrible, like greasy fish, which I’m sure has seeped into our luggage and clothes. The air from the air conditioner smells like sweat. The beds and pillows are extremely hard and uncomfortable, and the bedding is flimsy. There is no soundproofing so the street noise is heard clearly. The fact that it has a washing machine is NOT a saving grace.
