Maguroya Kurogin Kuromon — Restaurant in Osaka

Based on many reviews and recommendations from online, decided to try the Kamatoro Don at Kurogin in Kuromon Market. They officially open at 9:30am but the queue started to form before that. Joined the queue about 9:15am, waited till about 10am. The sequence begins with you first choosing from the available pre-packed packs in the display fridge, then choose between sashimi, sushi or donburi. You get a number, and the staff will call for your number when a seat opens up (there're about 8 seats around the stall). When you get seated, the staff at the cutting table will start work on your selection, and will serve it to you once ready. I selected a cut of kamatoro in the form of a donburi. It was good, but I feel that it was not as awesome as other ootoro I had. Advise to go earlier (around 9) to see the queue situation or join the queue. Saw some reviews before and went to check out this store . The toro looks soooo good. So I ordered the toro from 青森. The staff are nice and friendly he suggested me to try the aburi 炙燒style so I went with his suggestion while having it half and half. The toro was sooo fat and yummy. I tried to order some sake and they asked me to get from the convenience store. They allow customers to get drinks from other places at a lower price. ( I prefer having sushi instead of sashimi). I saw them make the slices of fish look nice so I picked half and half. Just that the toro was sooo oily that I wanted more rice and asked for it. First step is to join the queue to select your choice of cuts and pay for it to get a queue number. You can also choose if you want sashimi, sushi or serve with rice. Then, wait till your queue number is called and watch the staff help you prepare your cuts.

Queue usually move quite fast since just eat and go anyway. So, don't worry too much about waiting time.
