There are only several pros to this rental. Firstly, it is quite spacious room with two decent sized beds, which were harder than usual. However, the sheets do get itchy after a while but additional sheets and amenities were provided, but not enough. Lastly, it is very close to the city and nearby areas (such as, Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, Americamura and local convenience stores and restaurants) which you can walk to easily, except for the tremendous heat.
However, to this stay there are many cons. Upon arrival, the building itself and room is very unhygienic. The lobby had no lights and is stinky at times with rubbish (which had sheets next to it), meaning there is poor maintenance and the elevator is very hot and small, that you get sweat within seconds which can only fit 3 people max, not even luggage.
For example, there is lots of dust in most areas, including the backboard, hairdryer and chairs. There was also dirty utensils, spots on sheets, dining chairs are also covered in stains and spots. The kitchen sink is a bad design, having a super big drain, which leaves bits of food stuck. A random window in the room is also greeted to us that is uncentered and facing a concrete wall?
It is also very dry and hot when the air conditioner is on as it is in a very bad spot. Even being at the coldest temperature, it still is very hot. Furthermore, near the end of my stay it started to drip water for a while.
In addition, the neighbours upstairs are also super noisy and inconsiderate. Even at midnight or morning, loud banging, running and pulling chairs could be heard, which makes it hard to sleep. Also, the streets are very noisy at midnight with people screaming, laughing and playing music.
Regards to the toilet, it is separated with the bathroom. It is very small and stinky with a sticky floor present which cannot be removed however much you wipe, this also leaves slippers being sticky after a while.
And yes, amenities were provided but they are only filled up half way to none. The bathroom also has little to no place to put clothes or towels after showers and mirrors are in the most random places except for the bathroom.
In conclusion, I would suggest finding a better alternative to accommodation such as a hotel, like Hotel Nikko Osaka or Cross Hotel which are nearby because you get little to no support, as there is no people or staff to contact and there is little...

This is not a Hotel. It's misleading to say it is. It's a "Vacation Stay" much like an airbnb, but with very bad communications that make travellers scramble and stressed once you arrive because there is no entry or check-in information.
I would highly recommend reading other reviews on check-in expereince. We had the same bad expereince. In fact, this is the worst check-in expereince i've ever had staying at hotels, vacations stays, airbnbs, etc.
The photos used are not actually what we got. It felt much older, less clean.
One of the most disappointing parts is that we had planned around this being a hotel with hotel services like luggage storage after check-out only to find out there is none of that. On the day we left, we had to carry our own luggage 15minutes to the train station and find and pay for storage.
Honestly, I would have been much happier with the expereince if i had known what to expect ahead of time. I am giving a low rating because this stay aims to be created intentionally to misguide a traveller to think this is a Hotel.
The redeeming qualities that made me give two instead of one star: Location is very good The room has plenty of space
I would recommend this place for families or groups of 4+ people as a budget stay if you are OK with none of the...
Read moreFirst of all, the apartment does not look like the photos, the place is a bit run down, like an old apartment. But what was worse is that the room was extremely dirty, especially when it comes to Japan, everything is very clean, but definitely not this apartment.
On top of that, they did not refill any shampoo, shower gel, detergent etc. The bottles were half used, so you have to buy them yourself. If you think about it, all the things you have to buy, such as shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, laundry detergent, are a lot to repurchase, might as well save that amount of money and spend it in a much nicer hotel.
The only positive aspect that I would like to point out is that the area is not dangerous, it is pretty safe to walk around at night, there are a few shops here and there and it is very close to Americamura. However, you have to keep in mind that if you live on the 2nd floor (which was the case for us), it is extremely noisy, constant noise from the street and neighbours that woke us up in the middle of the night.
So would I recommend this place to a friend? No. Considering with the lack of amenities, noise, uncleanliness and zero support from this place, definitely not...
