I visited this afternoon with my mother. I am originally from the states and moved to Japan not too long ago. I occasionally crave American-like food. I got a carrot cake with soy latte, my mother had a banana cake with soy latte as well. We ate in so we went upstairs and as i started having the carrot cake, our latte had come to us and didn’t realize until more than half of the latte was gone, some type of lid? Or idk what it exactly was, but it was contamination. I immediately stopped drinking the soy latte bc I felt disgusted. My mother was surprised, and I was bit shocked. It started to get a bit busy in the cafe so it was good timing to leave. I decided to tell the manager? I think. “This was in the latte” and she apologized, I could’ve asked for the soy latte money back but, usually that’s something the cafe should do, not the customer. My girlfriend isn't a fan of chocolate bakes, and has now been converted by the cupcake. We also had coffee which was skillfully prepared.
All of the cakes are vegan, too.
The café is small and cute. It also has seating upstairs which was a pleasant surprise. Even if there's no space in the café, there's a park across the street where you could sit and enjoy the goodies.
The staff were very polite and helpful.
The only downside was that there's no toilet.
Overall, we were very satisfied and would...
