Everything!! I was greeted with a smile and love. The music in the entrance is amazing and the pictures around the place shows how much they invested into this place. The staff was extremely friendly and we had great conversation in English and Japanese. The staff were actually concerned about the guests. I was casually speaking to one of the staff and I had told them that I didn't wake up until noon and she was actually concerned and asked if them cleaning disturbed my sleep. It was a very sweet gesture and I appreciated her concern very much. They had a routine set that kept that place very clean; both the kitchen and the dorms. I was highly impressed. Every morning they had free cereal set out along with free milk for breakfast. They also provided free ramen!! As well as free coffee and tea. How wonderful!! The location for the price was amazing as well; in walking distance to the popular shopping mall district and tourist areas. Which considering, I thought that I would have trouble sleeping, but at night there were no sounds from outside. Maybe like one drunk person (It's Christmas/New Year Time). Lol. I had more trouble sleeping because of the young lady who was snoring in the bunk next to me but that really wasn't a problem to be honest. They even had a takoyaki party one night and it was sooooo good. Soul Food they called it. My only complaint is that the bed was a little tough, but it may have just been my bed. Overall I would come back again if I'm in Osaka. ありがとうございます Love...

If you're looking for luxury, Hostel Q is not the place for you. If you're looking for a few quick nights to feel safe, sleep and party, this is definitely the right place. The lower floor is a socializing/communal area with a kitchen and some seating. The main floor is reception with additional seating and as you work up the floors you see the hostel rooms. There are private rooms however they are bunk beds. The beds were moderately comfortable, AC was in the rooms and the bathrooms on every floor were relatively clean, I saw several staff cleaning the bathrooms daily. Some of the toilets still had a funky smell despite cleaning, but otherwise it was clean. We stayed here for 4 nights and loved how close it was to everything, including the train station just being a few minutes walk away. It was very affordable as well. I would recommend younger...
