The famed Mandarake always offering up a huge variety of second hand goods & collectibles. They have a massive book and toy section and you're bound to find something you'd like here if you're an anime fan. There are also lots of vintage and rare goods as well; such as magazines from the 80s and 90s with even toys from the 60s and 70s. Pricing is quite variable here; but overall you won't find things to be completely overpriced. With new things closer to MSRP pricing, and older and rarer items to be more expensive. Easy to spend half a day here just walking around and seeing what they have to offer!

This place is worth a visit in search of collectibles of all kinds - ship plane and Gundam models, Transformers, figurines, costumes, and manga. The nostalgia of finding items from the past which still hold significant personal and collectible value will keep you busy across the two store floors. There are other similar stores in the building to check out as well.

I didn’t get their names, but the salespeople at the back counter of the store near the diecast models and figurines section had appalling manners and was very rude; ignoring me, and showing disinterest when I politely asked for assistance and spoke Japanese to them.

I simply wanted to purchase an item that was locked behind a showcase cabinet; is it that hard for you idiots to do your job and provide customer service, helping with buyer enquires?

I’ve been to many Mandarake stores all over Japan but this Sapporo store in particular has by far the worst customer care I’ve experienced, which is a surprise as customer service in Japan is taken seriously and most of the time to a...
