The only reason you should go here is because for Tokyo prices it is relatively cheap (€26 per night). But I do not recommend this hostel to anybody that wants to get some sleep. practically sleep on wood. I barely had any sleep in this hostel. And me and my friend stayed here for 6 nights. |There are 4 male and 4 female showers. This sounds like a lot, but they don’t give any water when 2 are used at the same time. In a 9 floor hostel with more than 20 beds per floor, you can imagine that happens a lot. Also a queue line at the showers several times. |There’s no atmosphere what so ever, even though they have a ‘common room’ on the 9th floor. This room could be turned into something great, but now it is just a huge empty space with two couches and two vending machines. No music, no people, no cozy lights, nothing. Because there is no place to gather with fellow travellers, there’s hardly any possibility to connect with new people. |The only reason you should go here is because for Tokyo prices it is relatively cheap (€26 per night). This hostel makes my top 3 of worst hostels I have ever been to in Asia. The worst thing; the ‘beds’. They are so horrific, with matrasses only 2 cm thick, you practically sleep on wood. I like the 10th floor, common area, for the space. The beds at 5th are basically capsule. It's good for sleeping only. Bring your own slippers and maybe fold them keep them inside your capsule, tucked away when not in use. Take 4 or 5 coins when you take shower. When you drop the coin, the shower is activated for 10 mins. Just drop another coin when the shower stopped. The shower is at the basement. You basically is seen at lobby when you go down and go back up to the elevator. The elevator is cramped, make allowances and better take shower earlier than everyone else. Very close to the train station. Good value for the money. We stayed for one night only. One strange encounter is that some let's stay japanese man who is not employed at the hotel, and maybe a freeloader, who come in and go, and drink tea and coffee left by guests, and he smelled and sound drunk, asked us why we (our race) keep coming to Japan, and mentioned to us that japanese people did very bad, very terrible things to the women of our country....

Great place with an awesome price. About 20 to 30 minutes walk to the busy nightlife of Kabukicho and Golden Gai areas. The place is clean and cant beat the price. You will make friends from around the world to chill and go out with here. I paid about 185 us dollars or 18000 yen for 10 days. I went all over Japan and could leave my belongings safely and I had a small locker to put my passport and money in. If I come back to Tokyo then this place definitely meets the budget without a hefty amount.

I had a great stay here. The location is great and beds are decent enough to get some sleep. Service is amazing here, the staff seem to really enjoy their job and are willing to do as much as possible to make your stay comfortable. I seemed to have an allergic reaction to the blanket and the staff was happy to find me a replacement. Also drank some tea with the staff and had a chat. All in all great place to stay and would love to come again
