I booked this stay for 3 nights and on my day of checkin I informed beforehand that I will arrive late since I was traveling from Osaka, from the hotel in Osaka we had paid for luggage transfer through Yamato to this hotel. The luggage was to arrive to this hotel on 13th or 14th June. On 12th June I came to hotel for checkin late at night and was exhausted since I did a long journey and travelled with a toddler. When checking in we requested that the hotel charge from booking itself. The hotel refused saying they don’t want to be paid through bookings instead to pay in cash/card. Since we did not have any cash at that time we requested so many times to charge from our bookings itself. But the staff was so inconsiderate and rude and asked us to leave to another hotel but since by then it was 02:30 am we said we will stay until tomorrow morning and leave as soon as possible. We paid for the one night in full cash to this hotel. Booked another stay and next day early morning we checked out and left this hotel. When we left were in such a hurry and since the staff was so rude I completely forgot about the luggage I had sent through Yamato to this hotel. On our last day in Japan on 14th we came to this hotel to take the luggage since it was expected to arrive on that day. When we asked the reception they said that since we left the hotel they refused to collect the luggage and that now it is in Osaka. We asked the staff why they would refuse our luggage since we stayed in their hotel just a day before and only left because they told us to leave. The staff was so inconsiderate and when I asked them why they didn’t contact us through our contact details or even through bookings. They said they didn’t check the system bookings since this was from a customer who left the hotel. While we were so stressed that we had our flight back to our country in 4 hours and our luggage was in another city. The one particular guy manager was simply laughing at our misery I had never felt so bad by any customer service agent. It was so difficult to communicate with the staff since none of the staff could talk in English and we kept saying the same thing over and over again. At first the staff agreed that they made a mistake as well but then they said don’t accept any mistake from their side. We then had to ship our luggage though post from Japan back to my home country which was so so expensive. I will never in my life stay in this hotel and would never recommend anyone to stay here. This hotel is the worst place I have booked in my...
Read moreDear Hotel KeihanTeam,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the pre-arrival services provided by your hotel.
I recently contacted your team with an inquiry regarding my upcoming stay, as my flight is scheduled to land in Japan at 01:10 AM. To my concern, I was informed that check-in is not available until 23:00, and I did not receive a satisfactory solution or clarification regarding what would happen if I arrive at 3:00 AM. This lack of responsiveness has left me unsettled and concerned about the convenience of my stay.
Furthermore, I noticed that there is no option to modify the arrival date on your website. As my plans have unexpectedly changed, I am unable to manage my reservation and make necessary adjustments. This limitation in flexibility is inconvenient and presents a significant challenge for guests who may need to modify their bookings.
Regrettably, due to these issues, I find myself compelled to consider canceling my reservation altogether. It is disheartening that I am unable to efficiently manage my booking and make the required changes to accommodate unforeseen circumstances.
I understand that each hotel faces unique challenges, and I believe that addressing these concerns will contribute to an improved experience for future guests. I kindly request your prompt attention to these matters and a timely resolution to ensure a seamless and enjoyable stay at your esteemed establishment.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. I look forward to your prompt...
Read moreWhere do i start, we stayed here 3rd - 6th Dec 2024 and exterior temp was about 15 deg daytime
Cons; Stuffy hot hotel room with no way to alter the temperature (centralised control) Stuffy hot foyer A main road facing hotel room with lots of road noise even with windows closed Hotel room with no blockout curtains or blinds. Self check in
We had to open the windows in the evenings to cool the room down after getting back from a big day out. This, in turn, created more available road noise to enter our room. Up early cause too much brightness coming thru blinds. It was a pretty average stay at this hotel, I wouldn't stay here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's a three star hotel for a reason. I'm actually surprised it gets such good reviews as my experience wasn't good. I will, in good faith, offer the better parts of the hotel Pros; It's clean, tidy, and cost-effective Location is definitely convenient, close to train stations, and also close to plenty of places to eat locally. The bedding was okay, and the service received from staff was generally good. Staff can speak a bit of English, which was appreciated. Also, allowing us to leave our luggage here on early arrival and departure was also appreciated. They also brought up pedestal fan to help combat the heat in the room
In short, fix the air con situation, add some blackout curtains will go a long way to rectify...
