This served as an excellent base following our early morning arrival flight from Ho Chi Minh City the back end of December 2024. With our flight not arriving until after 3am we tried to get a hotel within Haneda airport but there was no availability. We selected this hotel as it had 24 hours check in, was a decent price and was still close to Haneda airport. Our plan was to get to the hotel have a few hours’ sleep before making our way into Tokyo where we would be staying for 4 nights. We got one of the Taxis just outside the airport and it cost approx. £7 and took about 10 mins. We were greeted by one of the reception team members where check in was smooth and quick. There was a vending machine in reception selling water and soft drinks (approx. 140 yen/70p). The room had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The double bed was comfortable, there was no noise, the wi-fi worked excellent, the window could open to let in fresh air, a kettle with cups and tea/coffee/sugar/creamer were provided, there was an air con/heating unit, fridge, 2 x bottles of water were provided, hair dryer, tooth brush/vanity/shaver sets were provided in the bathroom, trouser press, 2 x towels, 2 x slippers and two separate bins one for general waste and one for plastic/recyclables. The bathroom featured hand wash, shower gel and shampoo. The shower had excellent pressure with the hot water kicking in as soon as you turned it on. When we turned on the TV the home screen advertised late check out extensions which you could arrange via the TV. Check out is 10am and with us not getting settled till after 4am we felt this wouldn’t be enough time to pull ourselves together. We therefore utilised this service and requested it through the TV. Once you press the option on the TV the home screen updated to show your revised check out time. We extended our check out time to 12pm and cost about 2000 yen/£10 per hour (we paid this charge when we checked out). We were pleased we did this as it allowed for us to have an extended sleep, where we woke up feeling refreshed and revitalised ready for our new adventure into Tokyo. When we checked out, we asked the lady on reception directions for the train station. She kindly provided us a map which was easy to find and took less than 10 mins walk to reach it. Overall, we had a short but sweet stay. It did the job which was allow us to get some rest following our early morning arrival flight from Ho Chi Minh City. The staff we encountered were helpful, professional and spoke excellent English. The room was cosy and had all the home comforts for our visit. We would use this hotel again and would recommend it to...
Read moreOverall this hotel was horrible and I have no idea how it receives good reviews. Negatives -The room is so small I could stretch out side ways and touch each wall. -The room is smaller than an inside cruise ship cabin & smaller than a college dorm to give you a visual. -The $20 a day breakfast was disgusting & not even worth free. Nothing for a westerner to eat at all. -The restaurant inside is also stinks serves frozen pizza but their fries are good. -Near nothing any tourist would want to see. It's not near any tourist attraction or any shopping district. -1 Hour to shebuya crossing by subway or $75 by taxi each way. -Front desk staff unhelpful for just about everything but overly friendly & helpful to their own. -Nobody in hotel speaks anything but Japanese but when shown google translate still nobody will go above & beyond & help you. -$200 usd Taxi to hotel about an hour away from international airport. -No daily housekeeping - towels are hung on your door daily that's all you are provided. -Breakfast is from 5am-9am. -Hotel staff would not allow us to sit in the lobby or breakfast area to eat something we were told to go to our incredibly small room. One of us ate on the toilet the other the bed. Unrelated to hotel - taxis are very expensive so subway is most cost effective but very hard to navigate. Positives -Near Subway maybe 2 minute walk straight down road. -Near 7 Eleven -Near laundromat. -Near grocery store where you could buy a much...
Read moreUnfortunately this one was by far the worst hotel in our entire trip. 😕 I selected this hotel due to its accessibility to the airport and rails, but in hindsight, that was a mistake. It's only a 5 min walk to the Animori Inari station, but getting to Tokyo and the central business areas will be expensive by taxi and somewhat lengthy by rail, in which you will almost always need to transfer at least once, if not multiple times to get anywhere. As for the local things, there's some good restaurants and curious areas, but other than that, nothing much here to explore on foot since it is tucked away from the main juncture. The hotel itself is a little dated. Amenities are simple and similar to other hotels we've stayed at here in Japan, but this location seems much less foreigner friendly. The rooms are dated, but decent size and, (my personal biggest gripe) the HVAC controls are all Japanese with no English or even picture-menu style directions on how to operate the thermostat! We were either burning up or we had cold, musty air being blown hard in our faces while trying to sleep since the air distribution in the room leaves much to be considered. So, if you're sightseeing and looking to travel around Tokyo with ease, skip this one and opt for something closer...
