Haneda Shrine — Attraction in Tokyo

this shrine was established by a wealthy sailor and feudal lord of the local area called Yojiro Nakekata about 800 years ago. 以前より興味があり羽田空港を利用する際に大鳥居駅（京急空港線）で途中下車し立ち寄ることが出来ました。

羽田神社は、東京都大田区本羽田にある歴史ある神社です。

鎌倉時代の1258年に創建されたと伝えられています。当初は牛頭天王（ごずてんのう）を祀っていましたが、明治の神仏分離令により、須佐之男命（すさのおのみこと）と櫛稲田姫命（くしいなだひめのみこと）を主祭神とする神社となりました。

羽田空港の近くに位置するため、航空安全の神様として信仰を集めています。また、古くから地元の人々の生活を見守り、地域の守り神として崇敬されてきました。

祭られている神様:

須佐之男命: 日本神話に登場する神様で、ヤマタノオロチ退治で知られています。力強さや厄除けの神様として信仰されています。

櫛稲田姫命: 須佐之男命の妻であり、美と縁結びの神様として信仰されています。

訪問した感想:

私は、羽田空港からほど近い場所にありながら、静かで落ち着いた雰囲気に包まれた神社だと感じました。境内には、羽田富士と呼ばれる富士塚など、見どころもたくさんあります。ちょうど夏の邪気払いの葦の輪も設置されており、とても清らかな体験が出来ました。

特に印象的だったのは、航空安全や旅行安全を願う絵馬が多く、人々の願いが込められている様子が伝わってきました。

羽田空港を利用する際は時間に余裕をもって、ぜひ羽田神社にも立ち寄ってみてください。きっと、心穏やかな時間を過ごせるはずです。
