We chose the hotel because of the price and proximity to the airport. There is an unmanned registration system. However, when we arrived, the door code provided didn't work and we weren't the only ones who had trouble getting in. A group of young Japanese women had the same problem. We finally managed to come up with something together. On site, it turned out that the registration tablets had been unloaded! Together we tried to do something about it. After several minutes, the girls managed to contact the hotel staff by phone. If it weren't for these girls, we wouldn't have entered the rented room. They helped us.
Wasted time and nerves.
And since the door code didn't work, the three of us couldn't go to the store or for a night walk because someone had to stay behind to open the main door. Not to mention the large queue of people in front of the hotel and in the lobby who later had the same problem.
The hotel itself was quite clean and tidy. There is air conditioning, access to a hairdryer,...
Read moreNo early check in. Check in is at 3pm but i came at 2:30pm. I understand that 3pm is a hard check in time, but I was really sick that day and traveling alone. They wouldn’t make an exception and on top of that there’s absolutely NO LOBBY to rest in. How does a 3-star hotel not have a resting area for guests. The website says they need have check in at 3pm due to cleaning, but my room was already clean. I know this because I was sitting right in front of my room on the first floor the whole time and not one person came in or out in the time I was waiting so in fact I could have been in my room earlier.
Also, I paid 60,000 extra yen to do a late checkout at 12pm. However at 10am, service came knocking and opened my door without waiting for me at all. They came to ask me to check out. I’m alone and a woman and DO NOT appreciate two men coming into my room unannounced. Also, if I’m paying for late check out then obviously it’s not okay for someone to barge into my room before...
Read moreBooked on Expedia. Looked nice. Instant regret. I was apparently supposed to be emailed an access code as well as a confirmation code. The door was open when I first arrived so I didn't need to use an access code and I wasn't aware of any at the time. Checked in and I had to use the tablet to call them to verify my identity. I left my luggage in the hotel and stepped out for a brief moment and that's when the door locked. I wasn't able to call them. The phone number doesn't connect even though I made sure to do +81. I emailed them multiple times as well as contacted through Expedia and got no response. Eventually I was able to get in much later when someone else left the building and retrieve my belongings as well as finally receive the door code. In my opinion it's an unreliable system that they have in place and the customer support is terrible. The room was small and cute though, no complaints on the...
