HOTEL TABARD TOKYO — Hotel in Tokyo

Lovely, quiet stay at Hotel Tabard near Kinshicho Station. It’s about a 5-10 minute walk.

The neighborhood looks a little seedy, with many hourly stay hotels and hostess bars nearby, but as a solo female traveler, I didnt feel unsafe walking back to the hotel at night.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped me send my suitcases to haneda airport, and received packages I sent ahead earlier with no problems.

The room was clean and modern, and had just enough room for my bags, both beside and under the bed. Bed was warm and comfy too.

The breakfast service is simple, but good. Assorted pastries/bread and soup. It’s included with the room, so that was a good value.

Overall, a good value and a hotel that I can recommend to other solo travelers, as long as you know that it’ll be a train ride to get to the usual tourist hot spots like shinjuku, shibuya...

New (2020), small hotel 5 minutes walk from Kinshicho Station. Very convenient for access to Narita Airport and also quite good for access to Haneda airport. Entire hotel no-smoking. Room slightly larger than standard Tokyo business hotel. Spacious bathroom with shower. Decent desk and chair. Very fast internet. Good coffee (free) and an assortment of pastry for breakfast (free but not necessarily my taste). Hotel very clean and staff very friendly. One thing to consider: this hotel is in an entertainment district with some adult bars close by. But for me this was not an issue and area overall feels quiet and less 'adult' compared to Roppongi or Kabukicho. I will definitely stay...

Very good for independent traveler! Very boutique and chic industrial feel. Nice location - just 10 min walks from Kinshicho station. Located at quiet but convenient area. There are Luup e-scooters station just outside the hotel! For the room, it was spacious and comfortable (single double bed). Especially the washroom was really spacious compared to the same level hotels. I had a 2 nights stayed, they were the best slept I ever had during the whole week trip.
