Read moreThis is the second time we've stayed here for 2/3 days. And overall this space has been a good option for us. It's close to a train station HAMACHO Station (Shinjuku Line - Green) and not far away from the main central station to get to Shinkansen destinations. About 10min by uber / taxi 1500/2000jpy (to Tokyo station)
Wifey @soozhee does the booking details and experience, I get to enjoy everything else.
From my seat this hotel is noteworthy indeed! The rooms we've had so far are super cozy but very neat with comfortable size bathrooms with showers and even a bathtub for a soak. Nice big TV screen, I loved the window views, and an added daybed /lounge by the window is cool touch for a small space.
The beds are in the smaller end I think are double sized but still comfortable. I'm 180cm and 110kgs and I can still work with it, anyone taller may struggle. Wifey is on the smaller end so we can still make the bed arrangements work well. But for solo travellers this place would be an easy pick I reckon. I would even just do separate rooms in the future if we decided to stay longer.
The buffet location and layout is pretty nice. To me I just freaking love that they have such a service. 2200JPY , small buffet but a good place to chill for a bit to start the morning.
Overall I feel the hotel just works well, the team have been polite and helpful where they can and the hotel vibe, has a slight art deco / Monte Carlo reminder for me, so perhaps a slight European design as opposed to a traditional 'Japanese' style.
Hope you enjoy your...
Read moreStaff was horrible, never ever had such a bad experience till date wherever I have stayed in hotel. They were not at all co-operative and I found them mostly impolite and rude. From start till end you have to do take all services by your own and when you have booked the hotel room for 7 nights, ideally 1 room should have been given to make the stay comfortable provided you have to load and offload the luggage all by yourself, but no they forced me to change the room thrice, even I was ready to pay more. And that’s not over, a day before I was going to check out was that they asked me to compensate 32,900 ¥ because I had damaged three kettles of theirs and I don’t know whether I have. That was absolute shocker. If I had damaged I would have known it and If not they would have shown me. They are arguing to me that they replaced it with new one without informing me also..! Later a guy in reception denied that no charges to be paid and you can check out tomorrow smoothly by dropping the keys. But it wasn’t smooth at all, on day of check out which was early morning at 6 AM, lady named Ms. Yoneda again asked me to pay for the damaged kettle. That was unbelievable and for such an advanced developed country like Japan didn’t expect such a ridiculous behaviour. From room cleaning to check-in to check-out, I had to face unscrupulous behaviour again and again. Hope this gets better and no one will have to face the same.!! All the best and good luck to the hotel and...
