This is a traditional Japanese restaurant deeply rooted in the local community. For lunch, you can enjoy various types of Japanese-style seafood dishes, all under 2K yen. I highly recommend the Maguro Zuke-don (Tuna Donburi : a rice bowl with soy-marinated tuna sashimi, topped with a soft-boiled egg) and the Osashimi Teishoku (Sashimi set meal). Be sure to go early, as they often sell out! They only accept CASH payments. You pay the elderly proprietress directly after your meal, so it's a good idea to have some coins ready. Really nice, small traditional style seafood based 定食 (set meal) restaurant.

It’s run by an older couple who are both very nice. The fish is really good and the atmosphere of the restaurant is also quite nice.

I strongly recommend for anyone looking for a traditional seafood based lunch 😋
