April 2023: Delicious crispy traditional Taiyaki!

We went there on a weekday afternoon and the lineup happened to be very short. The staff couldn't speak English, but pointed at a menu so that I could choose the type of filling. Since the taiyaki are prepared in a particular way, it can take a while to get your order.

I loved the taiyaki. The crust has the crispiness of a wafer and you can taste a bit of the smokiness since it's grilled. Because the crust is thin, you get to taste more of the mildly sweet anko.

We waited in a long line and then got the grilled red bean cake shaped like a fish (Taiyaki). I burnt my mouth eating too fast 😆

The staff were very friendly, the taiyaki was freshly cooked, hot, sweet, a slight burnt bread taste around the edges with slight gooey and warm cake within and a really good red bean paste. 100% would recommend buying and eating while hot. Also the price was cheaper than similar places I saw...
