Yoshitsuki Hotel — Hotel in Tokyo

Out of all locations we stayed in japan this was by far the worst.

The rooms were not really clean. It feels like only the roomba ist cleaning the floor, but in every corner, surface and even the toilet we were able to find dirt/remains/stains of the persons who stayed before. Not a nice experience when u discover foreign toenails.

The AC is mounted weirdly facing the outside wall of the balcony. It does not seem to have an inverter, so its turning on/off all the time, which u can clearly hear out of the bed since the fan is working against the balcony.

The TV is rather small, but have a Google TV installed which was nice.

U have a kitchen, but no kitchen tools at all. No plates, no knifes/forks/chop sticks, not even glasses for drinking (only in the bathroom). We made the fool decision of ordering food :/

There is no metro station in close proximity. Bus Line 46 can bring u to Ueno Starion, but i would suggest a Taxi if ur coming the trolleys, since the bus was often crowded.

I would really love to give this hotel 5 stars because it is rather excellent for the price. The view of the Skytree from the balcony is one good reason to stay here. It's also within walking distance of Senso-ji. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, you get a feel for what everyday life in Tokyo is like.

My one big issue with this hotel, which is the reason why I'm only giving it 4 stars, is the fact that they only give you ONE key. Perhaps, I should have demanded for another key but it's just standard practice to give your guests 2 keys if you have more than one staying in a room.

I might stay here again on a future visit and, if they do change this practice, then I'll change my...

CONS microwave is at the lobby bit of a walk to the train station, so if you don't like walking, this might not be for you balcony has the mount for hanging clothes but no stick. Just bought a laundry...
