LA Yuuki — Restaurant in Toyama

The food here is good and tasty. We tried cheese tortilla and seafood chevice. The cheese tortilla is crunchy but savory with the cheese sauce. Chevice is so fresh with the boiled octopus and shrimp. There are sour taste though it’s not strong. Overall it’s delicious. the restaurant decoration is so beautiful with mexican song. The owner is very helpful and can speak english. This is a good place to hang out because it is open till 10 while other shops already closed at 8pm. Easiest 5 stars! This was our first time visiting, and we came in right after opening, so the place was still empty. The owner, who handles everything himself, was incredibly patient and friendly. Everything we ordered came out quickly, and the taste… oh my god, it was absolutely delicious! The enchiladas were rich and full of flavor, the burrito was generously filled, and the quesadillas were perfectly cheesy. The portion sizes were great for the price, and the quality was spot on. Mexican food in Japan, who would have thought. It doesn't seem to be their thing as we were the only customers at dinner time. Food was surprisingly good and close to home. I'd avoid the chorizo as it just seems like he gets a whole sausage and cuts it into very large chunks. Everything else was great. Owner was having problems with his card reader and asked if we had cash instead. We didn't quite have enough to cover the tab so he gave us a discount to make it work.
