Grand Café — Restaurant in Urayasu

We were really shocked to find most of the food here inedible. It's a nice, big chain hotel near Disney afterall! After a long day of traveling, we decided to stay at the hotel for dinner and enjoy the buffet since the ads touted 'michelin rated' and 'spanish inspired' and the reviews were high. We were so disappointed that we realized we should've walked the buffet to look at the items before committing.

The foods were overly fishy//shrimpy to a point where that's all you tasted in the paella, steamed fish, and all the other similar rice/noodle dishes. And when I say fish/shrimpy, I mean it in a sense like it wasn't initially fresh or something to begin with. Also, for about $50/adult you would think there would be more diverse options. Even the salad bar was sad with the scarce, wilted vegetables, sour citrus fruits, and more seafood-based items. Desserts were also meh.

Luckily our daughter enjoyed her few items. I barely ate since everything had that overpowering fishy taste. We saw many other families come in after us sit at their table with disappointed looks on their face too. The one thing that was edible and seemed to go quickly was the...

メキシカンメニューに変わって 気になったのでまた家族で行きました♪

雰囲気変わって新鮮です！！

ホテルの予約サイトからグランカフェを予約、オンライン決済支払いを利用すると ドリンクバーが無料になるサービスがあるので今回は利用させていただきました。 ※当日、追加注文した場合は、別途レジにて追加注文分の支払いが必要です。

またまた平日のランチ利用だったので 空いていてゆっくり出来ました。

前回と同じお料理もあるので今回はもう少し落ち着いて堪能出来るハズと 楽しみにお出かけして来ましたヨ。

メキシカン凄く良かったです！！

定番のローストビーフも美味しいのですが お肉メニュー最高でした☆

パンもバターや蜂蜜があって嬉しかった。 残念だったのは…フランスパンが焼けなかったこと〜焼けないのであれば〜ガーリックトーストにしてくれるか薄く切って チーズやスモークサーモンを乗せるなど 工夫が欲しかった(惜しい…ビーフシチューなどあれば付けて食べるけどそのままは美味しくないと息子が呟いていました、他の２種類のパンは美味しかったです)

今回も色々なお料理を満喫。 楽しかったデス(^^)v

スイーツもまたまた美味でした！！

ちょっと変わったところでは、 ラムレーズンのフレンチトースト風のスイーツがバランス良くて美味でした。 甘過ぎないケーキはやっぱり最高♪♪

Atmosphere: Spacious buffet restaurant with a pretty view of garden and chapel. Very relaxing vibes.

Service: Very good. I mentioned that we were celebrating our honeymoon, and they gave us a dessert and helped us take an Instax photo as a souvenir. This was a very thoughtful gesture from them.

Food: Nice selection of local and international cuisines. We went on a weekday afternoon; there was no sashimi for lunch (not sure about dinner), but there was chirashi. It is okay for us because there's a good selection of other cuisines.

Crowd: Not crowded on a weekday afternoon even though this is a hotel near to Disney resorts.

Price: 4900 yen per adult for buffet lunch (excluding drinks). Drinks are additional 800-900...
