Great location for skiing a lift is just outside the door. It is a little away from the centre so if you are looking for action may this place will not suit. The staff speak a little English and are willing to assist. The meals so far are very traditional which for us is great so if you are not adventurous in your eating you will have to be a little choosy although there is plenty to tempt the taste buds. When we’re here the restaurant was not open for lunch so worth checking. The motel had a courtesy bus for pick ups when you, the info rang through to the motel if you are like us no phone service. Strongly recommend this place for anyone planning on a ski trip to Zao - superb location and amazing dinging experience! It has a ski rental shop within and offers discounted lift tickets/rental package. It’s also at a ski in ski out location where you can get to lift 26 right outside of the lodge. It also has free shuttle pick up service and both indoor & outdoor onsen, which is perfect for a post ski treat! Their complimentary dinner and breakfast is amazing - couldn’t have asked for more! The only flaw I would say is the bed is rather soft and the hotel room sound proof...
