I have mix feeling of this place. We drove allllll the way here in the blizzard to try learning and buy Yamagata Sake but they don’t have much for sale and they had no intention to explain anything to us even tho it’s supposed to be a “sake museum.” However the grandpa working there was very much of “tsundere” (if you know what I mean) so it might be fun to try to communicate with him. Read moreGot the ticket for free sake tasting, was really worth it. We even bought a bottle of sake and another round of sake tasting. However, elderly man seems a bit not in the mood to serve, he didn't greet us upon entry and was hitting the sake bottles on the bottle infront of us.

The cafe was super disappointing as the food was mediocre compared to the many other cafes we tried in the area. Even Lawsons had better food! Waiting time was also very long just for them to whip up a bowl of noodles. Really not worth the walk...
