World Cafe PALETTE （ワールドカフェ パレット） — Restaurant in Yamagata

We loved this place to eat during our stay in Zao Onsen. It’s the perfect spot to eat if you arrive later in the evening. I loved how they left pieste maps on the table so we could plan routes.

The food was reasonable with good variety.

The hot wine was a personal favourite of mine – they made it just like they do in France.

I am also especially grateful that the staff ran out after me when I forgot my hat in the restaurant!

The owner is does a very good job at being friendly and taking suggestions...

Location: no doubt, it’s good because the cafe is very near from Zao onsen bus terminal.

Ambiance: Excellent (not expecting this on this kind of remote location)

Food: we have ordered 2 sandwiches and a ginger apple drink, tasty 😋 .

Small and quiet place with awesome ambience.
