The most interesting konbini I have visited so far.
Like most of the reviews here, what stuck out to me most was 'that' clerk.
I don't agree with the assertion that he dislikes foreigners; maybe he does, however, given some of the negative reviews mentioning him appear to be from native Japanese, including one who claimed the clerk called the police after he attempted to use his own bag, it's likely he's simply a grumpy old man.
I wouldn't let the reviews put you off, he will serve you without question or comment provided you don't perform any social faux pas. He did scald me for pressing the bell to be served after I failed to see him stacking shelves and thought he might be out back.
On the flip side, there was a lovely gentleman working the night shift who spoke impressive English and was extremely polite and friendly.
And of course they sell karaage-kun, which for my fat, pasty, fussy English arse was a saving grace.
Overall, this Konbini represents yin and yang through the medium of convenience...
