リゾート湯布院 〜Grandpia Resort YUFUIN〜 — Hotel in Yufu

I would give the best review except one single issue. It is an apartment of split levels. At entrance level, there is a bathroom, a dining area, and a kitchen. At the upper level, there is a living area, the bedroom, and a second WC. The place is spacious, clean, well-decorated, and most importantly comfortable (not only because of the free snack, drinks, and wine). The hotspring water pumped into the bathroom is definitely an enjoyable feature. A family with 3 different interests may use the two big TVs and the little one in the bathroom to reduce argument on what channel to watch.

While the kitchen has a double induction heater and a sink, the cooking utensils and kitchen wares are really too few. So few that even making a simple breakfast for two (e.g. an omelett, a sandwich and soup) would be inconvenient, not to mention a reasonable dinner. The following should at least be added: a small rice cooker, plates of various sizes, a pan or a saucepan of diameter at 24 inches.

By the way, self-check in and out are easy in our case because we are familiar with using electronic lock. Some instructions for first user...

📍 アクセス・施設概要

宿の住所は 大分県由布市湯布院町川上 2710-18です。  観光エリアの中心からほど近く、駐車場も無料で用意されていて、車でも安心してアクセスできます。  少数部屋制をとっており、静かに過ごしたい方には特に向いている宿です。

🛏 客室・設備

私が宿泊したのはメゾネットタイプの洋室で、1階にリビングキッチン、2階に寝室という造りでした。 室内は広く、ソファや大きめのテーブル、冷蔵庫・調理器具・コーヒーメーカーなど充実した設備が揃っており、「暮らすように泊まる」というコンセプトが納得できる空間でした。  さらに、全室に天然温泉100％の内風呂が備わっているという点が最高でした。チェックイン後すぐ部屋風呂に浸かれる贅沢感が、旅の疲れを一気に癒してくれました。

♨ 温泉・お風呂

部屋の浴室はしっかり湯布院温泉の源泉掛け流しということで、湯質も良くて“温泉に来た感”がありました。 また、宿泊者は姉妹館「ほたるの宿 仙洞」の温泉も利用できるという案内があり、気分によって使い分けられるのも嬉しいポイントです。

✅ 良かった点 • 客室が広く設備が整っており、複数人／家族／グループでも快適に過ごせる。 • 内風呂温泉付きの贅沢仕様が、“旅の非日常感”をしっかり演出してくれた。 • 駐車場無料・観光地近くという立地とアクセスの良さ。 • 宿泊者が少数ということで、騒がしさが少なく落ち着いた時間が過ごせた。

⚠️ 注意・改善点 • 道路（宿の入口周辺）の幅が狭いということもあり車で訪問時は運転に注意が必要です。  • 素泊まりスタイルの部屋のため、外食または持ち込みという前提で準備が必要です。 • チェックイン時の受付が姉妹館であるなど、手続きの流れを事前に確認しておくと安心です。

Apartment was spacious and nice, with many amenities all there. Easy to walk around the area.

Problem is there is no lift, lucky our group managed to carry all luggages up. A public laundry at the first floor.
