This ryokan is fair in it's quality, pricing, etc. For example, to get to this ryokan, we drove past residential areas. The ryokan is a square of land randomly situated basically nowhere interesting but going inside the ryokan feels magical. The reception room is lovely with high faulted ceilings and a roaring fire. We had a room that was also lovely in its decor, cleanliness, spacious. From the onsen, we could see the mountain, but over a 7 foot or so fence so that the apartment complexes across the field won't see you. The food was delicious and the service was also lovely. The days and nights were tranquil. The ryokan is a few minutes walk into town, very convenient. We are definitely returning next year as it's food, service with kindness, privacy, tranquility and atmosphere far outweigh...
