You need to let them clean from 9am to 12 noon, leaving your key at the desk or they will just place new towels and amenities on your door assuming you don't want your room cleaned. Checkout is at 10am and breakfast from 6.30 -8.30am. |There are three floors with no lift so it's not suitable for those with large and heavy suitcases. However there's a small onsen enough for two people at a time but only one wash station. It's open 24 hours and you take a towel from your room.|The breakfast is adequate with rice and accompaniments, salad and coffee but no fruit. The seating arrangement is ryokan-style and it's best to wear slippers down to take them off easily.|There is air-conditioning but heating starts maybe late October. |All in all, this is quite a traditional ryokan-though there are beds with futons.
