The food is fantastic. We booked a room that came with breakfast and dinner. The dinner was fantastic - an 8 or 9 course dinner, beautifully plated and presented. We looked forward to our dinner every day. Breakfast was also in the same area, nice but dinner really was spectacular.||||Location is great. Just opposite the Echigo Yuzawa station, and next to Toyota Car Rental. There is a free shuttle bus to Gala Yuzawa for ski action, taking around 7 mins or so.||||Room size is decent (futon-style). Staff is helpful and polite.||||The hotel provides umbrellas and even rubber boots for loan (free) to get around easily in the snowy weather!||||Third-floor outdoor onsen is small but nice as you can sit in there while it's snowing. There is also an indoor one on the first floor but I didn't try as I like outdoor onsens.||||Only drawback is the lack of wifi...
